Help with career orientation through KAOS?

When I finished secondary school, I didn't know exactly which direction I wanted to go in. The only thing I knew was that I wanted to do something with computers and drawing. I kept thinking about going into media design, but up until then I had no experience with it.

But when the Wangen Vocational School Center gave me the opportunity to attend the Business Information Technology Vocational College, I saw it as my first small introduction to this world. Through the Business Information Technology Vocational College, I learned about programming websites and became more and more interested in media design.

That's why I decided to do a two-week internship here at the KAOS advertising agency. My two weeks of internship from August 01.08st to August 12.08.2016th, XNUMX were varied and very interesting. I did most of the tasks I was given on the computer, but I was also allowed to draw something on paper and on the computer. Among other things, I designed my own logo, my own business cards and my own letterhead for my application. What was clear from the start was that creativity is required.

I also quickly learned how to use the programs that were new to me: Adobe Illustrator CC 2015, Adobe InDesign CC 2015 and Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.

Mr. Schauer, the boss of KAOS, kept checking on me and gave me tips on what I could do better. The KAOS team also gave me the opportunity to help with the work of the web designers and web developers and to look over their shoulders.

The internship showed me that I can imagine working in one of the two areas of media/graphic design or web design/web development later on. And I really enjoyed seeing what it's like in the real working world.

Can I recommend an internship here at kaos?
Definitely, but I would especially recommend an internship to anyone who isn't really sure what they want to do later.
