Edelrid

The customer Edelrid from Isny ​​in Allgäu wanted a new advertising concept for its broad product portfolio from the areas of mountain sports and climbing, occupational safety, customer solutions and adventure park, which should work across all sectors.

The new ads should be designed modularly so that only the product image and text need to be exchanged. The design should also be variable enough to work in landscape and portrait format as well as in a square format. The possible areas of application range from online banners to print ads to large-format implementations, e.g. for events.

Art Direction

Based on the product categories, suggestions were developed for a background design that fulfilled the above-mentioned requirements. The respective products were to be brought into focus by a dynamic background design. The viewer should be able to tell at first glance which product category it is from the background used. The final motifs that were representative of the product portfolio were "concrete", "granite", "wood", "ice", "magnesia" and "leaves".

The implementation

The six motifs were digitally composed with great effort. The focus was on making them as realistic as possible. The compositions also had to be variable and modular in order to enable easy and quick adaptation to different products at a later date.
