We revised all corporate design elements over a long period of time together with the Edelweiss brewery Farny. All design elements were cleaned up technically and in terms of design. By creating a uniform appearance (corporate design), many communication processes were simplified and a uniform public appearance was ensured.
The binding specifications aim to ensure a consistent external image in public and a distinctive appearance with high recognition value. The Corporate Design Manual serves all employees and service providers of the brewery as a practical manual for the correct implementation of the corporate design. It explains the components and design rules and shows application examples.
Subsequently, various elements such as flags, banners, posters, metal signs, glasses, beer crates, playing cards, beer mats and much more were implemented.
The new addition to the range is not beer, but a herbal liqueur. The look with print finishing and embossing is intended to suit the target group aged 25-60. The aim was to develop a cheerful, timeless and tradition-conscious label.
We started with the word/image mark, which was to be different from the beer labels. The traditional values of the brewery and its origins - the Allgäu - were to be fused in the label. The image mark was refined in close cooperation with the Edelweiss brewery Farny, and the charismatic mountain ridge of the Hochgrat (Nagelfluhkette) was meticulously illustrated and abstracted. Different viewing angles of the chain at different times of day were tried out as a template. The illustration was to clearly show the striking appearance of the Hochgrat and at the same time be timeless.
Bright colors of strong yellow and rich red (represents the fiery red liqueur) paired with a Gothic font once again demonstrate the brewery's tradition. The unusual shape of the label, with an extra-wide banderole, stands out and has the character of a series. The label surface and bottle size form a harmonious connection.
The new word/image mark (Farny lettering and Hochgrat illustration) was also adopted for the Farny distillery. The design was subsequently expanded to include the labels for the Alt-Dürrener and the Alpen-GIN.
